The Coachella music festival, 2013, held in the southern part of California started with the performance of such British bands as The Stone Roses and Blur followed by a Daft Punk music video.
Members of Blur have recommenced their work after a prolonged interval recently and gladden visitors of the event with their best hits, particularly ‘Girls & Boys,’ ‘Beetlebum,’ ‘Parklife,’ ‘Song 2,’ ‘Out of Time,’ ‘Coffee & TV,’ and ‘Tender.’ The band comprises the following musicians: Dave Rowntree, Alex James, Graham Coxon, and Albarn who also took part in this festival in 2010, when he was a member of Gorillaz. According to his statement, the majority of their songs were influenced by the U.K. foul weather that doesn’t have anything in common with the sunshine of California.
The Stone Roses entertained the audience till midnight with their most successful songs such as ‘Fools Gold,’ ‘I Wanna Be Adored’ and some others. The band containing Reni, Mani, Ian Brown, and John Squire is known to like attracting attention of the media. They demonstrated a two-minute music video featuring Pharrell Williams, a famous R&B performer who sang ‘Get Lucky’ by Daft Punk, a popular French duo consisting of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter. The song is one of the tracks in the upcoming album called ‘Random Access Memories.’
The other bands and musicians who took part in the Coachella music festival include Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Alt-J, Modest Mouse, Of Monsters and Men, James McCartney, Jake Bugg, DJ Pete Tong, Passion Pit, How to Destroy Angels, and many others.
